The Division 2 on Steam Deck

The Tom Clancy multiplayer shooter The Division 2 has received a patch to let it run on the Steam Deck.

So says the singular patch note, an issue that prevented the game from being able to boot on Steam Deck has since been fixed, meaning owners can now take the game out for a ride to see how it performs.

I haven’t been able to test the game out just yet, but the lovely people over at SteamDeckHQ have briefly. According to the site, the game boots with zero problems and aside from frame drops, playing at 40 frames per second feel “fantastic.”

It’s also worth noting the game is currently on offer on Steam for $9/£7.80 if you fancy checking it out yourself.

As always, if you’re on the lookout for cool things to do on the Steam Deck, be sure to check out the RetroResolve guides archive. Or, if you want to know how well games perform on the Deck, head over to our reviews section.
