ASUS ROG Ally Update Adds Tutorial Video

As with most Windows handhelds, the onboarding process isn’t as simple as it is on a home console. With the PS5 or Xbox Series X, they’re both fairly intuitive to understand. With Windows handhelds, though, there are a lot of things owners aren’t aware of. Sure, you know if you load up Steam you can access your games, but did you know you can save power by turning off aggressive CPU boost

The latest ASUS ROG Ally update is designed to help make understanding the Ally’s landscape a little easier to navigate. Now, when you load up the Ally for the first time, you’ll be greeted with a welcome video that helps to show you around a little bit.

Elsewhere in the update, ASUS has fixed an issue where the ACSE’s real-time monitor would show the battery wattage as 2.6 watts constantly when unplugged.

It’s a small update for sure, but the video is sure to help out the less tech-savvy users. Check the full patch notes – both of them – below.
